The stakes are higher than ever before and crews from all across the country want to challenge the 405 crew for the title of “fastest street cars.” With new drivers trying to break onto The List, new cars, new upgrades, higher bets and new action, this is bound to be the most thrilling season yet! Make sure to tune in June 23rd at 9/8c for the season premier.
The 918 Tulsa Crew Should Have Called 911
Last night’s episode got heated between the two Oklahoma street racing rivals, Tulsa and OKC. The mutilated plastic crow Tulsa left for the Street Outlaws boys to find was not enough to intimidate them. Even with Murder Nova and Chuck’s Death Trap not ready to race due to some recent engine overhauls, OKC was not backing down. Chuck and Shawn recently begun the process of switching their cars from Nitrous systems to Twin Turbo. After the callout they had one night to finish fine-tuning their cars and get a couple test runs in. The boys hauled-ass in the garage so they could drag-ass on the street the next day.
Chuck’s car wasn’t quite ready and lost to another small-tire car. The rest of the races were epic! Derek, Monza, Daddy Dave and Big Chief all won by at least a couple car lengths. Even after Murder Nova switched on the ignition to find a broken rocker, the car hooked and crossed the finish line first. The 405 OKC drivers proved once again that they have the fastest streetcars in the country and sent the 918 Tulsa crew home a little light in their pockets. Next week on Street Outlaws we get back to a little action on The List and a couple scores may be settled. Make sure to tune-in!
Top 5 Shake-Up
For those of you who missed it, last night was one of the most exciting Street Outlaws episodes yet! Besides a little Farmtruck and AZN fishing in the Dung Beetle and goats let loose in Big Chief’s office (yes, real goats), the episode was all about shaking up The List.
Last season we saw Doc install a brand new giant motor while keeping it a secret from fellow racers and friend, Monza. When Doc tried to bury the hatchet with Monza he agreed to race for the 3 spot only if the 2 spot was ready to race, whether it was Daddy Dave or Murder Nova. New Race Master, Farmtruck was tired of having a stagnant list so he decided to shake it up a little further. With all cars in working order Daddy Dave and Murder Nova were scheduled to race, the winner between Monza and Doc would race the loser, and Big Chief would have to race the loser between Monza and Doc. It was going to be a top 5 Street Outlaws shake-up on top of who ever wanted to race in the bottom 5.
Varley made a few tweaks to the Gold Car and called out Dustin and his Camaro, Catfish. Dustin’s trans brake didn’t hold, he jumped the light and therefore lost on a technicality. Varley was then quick to call out Andrade Jr. and The Cutty. The Gold Car never hooked, spun its tires half way down the track and The Cutty “g-body shuffled” past the finish line with a few car lengths between them.
It was then on to the top 5 shake-up. First off was Doc and Monza. Doc’s giant motor has led to a few chassis problems and he hasn’t been able to get all of the power to the road. Monza won easily as Doc spun his tires and swerved all over the lane. Daddy Dave and Murder Nova then raced for the 1 spot and although both cars performed well, Murder Nova’s twin turbo setup wasn’t enough to take down Daddy Dave’s Sonoma. While Monza prepped his car to race the notorious Murder Nova, Doc and Big Chief lined up. Again, Doc’s car couldn’t hook and Big Chief’s The Crow took off down the line.
It was time to see how Monza’s Sinister Split Bumper would hold up against Murder Nova. Monza decided to let Murder Nova sweat while he enjoyed a smoke break before bumping up to the line. Was Murder Nova going to hold the 2 spot and remain within attack range of Daddy Dave for next weekend, or was Monza going to shake things up a bit? Right off the light it was a good race but as soon as Monza’s Sinister Split Bumper hit high gear it took off and there was no catching up for Murder Nova.
Since the start of Street Outlaws we haven’t seen a shake-up like this. There have been a lot of people rooting to see Big Chief race up the list, but they didn’t expect to see him and Murder Nova have to face-off so soon. Will Daddy Dave be able to hold the title, will Murder Nova make his way back up to reclaim the crown or will there be a new #1? Stay tuned for the next episodes of Street Outlaws and see if we can shake-up The List even further!

Can Things Turn Around for Doc?
This season of Street Outlaws has really mixed things up on The List. Last night was no exception. We’ve all seen Doc have his share of issues on the street after he installed his new engine. Last night he was hoping to turn things around. Chuck was hoping to make up some lost ground as well and we had a couple semi-new applicants for Varley’s 10-spot.
We’ve seen Freakin’ Rican make a couple passes at The List in the past. After a few upgrades to the car he came to Farmtruck asking for another shot. Rican wasn’t the only one drooling for the gatekeeper position. Kamikaze wanted to take The ElCo’s rebirth to the next level and give it a chance at The List again. Farmtruck decided to have Kamikaze and Freakin’ Rican race, the winner could then race Varley for the 10-spot. Like anyone would have guessed, the ElCo smoked Freakin’ Rican’s Freak of Nature. Freakin’ Rican smoked his tires the same way he did the past 2 attempts while the ElCo hooked. The ElCo immediately went to battle with Varley’s Gold Car, but due to bald racking slicks The Gold Car couldn’t get all of it’s power to the ground. The El Co took off, securing the 10-spot from Varley.
Meanwhile, Farmtruck and AZN went out for some “fishing” revenge against Tall Paul and his legendary Hot Rod. The Dung Beetle hooked hard off the line and smoked Tall Paul, lining their pockets with some extra change. Chuck called out Dominator before making sure his car was ready. He set up for some late night Dyno testing only to find out that his new twin turbo’s weren’t building boost. When it came time for race night in the OKC 405, Chuck decided to take his car off The List until he could get it working properly again. At that point he would then make his way back up The List. Dominator graciously let Chuck keep the bet money to put back in his car. This moved Kamikaze and Andrade Jr each up a spot on The List.
Kamikaze was fixing to move the ElCo up the list, first against Andrade Jr and The Cutty. After turning up the power on the ElCo a little, it hooked harder than expected. Kamikaze thought he crossed over the centerline and let off the gas letting Andrade take the win. Derek called out Doc. Like all of Doc’s previous passes he blew his tires off the road and let Derek take his spot on The List. Back at the starting line Dominator was waiting. He came to the street that night ready to race Chuck, but after Chuck bowed-out he needed to satisfy his cravings and smelled blood on Doc. Doc hooked hard out of the gate and almost crossed into Dominator’s lane. He pedaled it back in, caught up and won by a nose.
Is this the start of Doc’s run back-up the OKC 405 top-ten list? Will he be able to get all of the power his new engine creates to the ground? Will The Elco make its way through Andrade Jr.’s Cutty and the rest of the 405 crew to get back into the top-5? We’ll find out soon!

Small Tire Shootout
There was a lot of racing last night on Street Outlaws! Between Farmtruck and AZN’s stint at the amateur racing gathering and the small tire shootout! Big Chief and Murder Nova kept busy at the shop with their new Dyno testing deal. They practically had all of Oklahoma’s racers in the shop testing their cars. Somehow in between all of Midwest Street Cars’ business, they found time to put small tires on the Crow so they could compete in the small tire shootout.
Meanwhile Farmtruck and AZN were fishing for races at a racing gathering. AZN went against a couple of hot rods and ended up 1 and 1. Farmtruck stepped in on the loss and won the money back. Farmtruck then went on to take two more wins and a nice chunk of change. (See below for the list of races)
At the small tire shootout everyone lined up to get their spots. First up was an out of towner by the name of Francisco vs Chuck. Chuck rocketed off the line and earned a “W” right away. Second was BoostedGT vs Clint Downs and his 74′ Nova. Boosted was fast off the line and made a faster run than Clint but sadly lost the race cause he jumped the light. Big Chief was squared away against Andrade. Andrade was faster off the line but Big Chief used his much bigger engine to use the rest of the real estate and win by two car lengths. Kamikaze went up against the last out of towner, Eric Bane. The ElCo wheelied hard, came down hard and broke the suspension in the process. Somehow Kamikaze still pedaled out of it and won the race by 3 car lengths.
Next round started with Kamikaze vs Clint. There was nothing Kam could do about the suspension and went to race anyway. He bounced hard off the line twice and tried to gather it back up. He almost did and only lost by a single car length. Chuck took on Big Chief for the match of the night. Chuck was faster off the line but Big Chief immediately started catching up. By the end of the race it was neck and neck, so close that no one could tell who won. They reviewed the footage at the finish-line dozens of times. The frame before the finish-line Chuck was ahead by 6 inches, after the finish-line Chief was ahead by 6-inches and there was no clear view of the crossing. Farmtruck had to make a tough call and gave the win to Chuck.
The last race of the night was Clint vs. Chuck. Both where fast off the line but there was no contest. Chuck started gaining ground immediately and won by over 3 car lengths. Chuck gained back a little of his confidence with this small tire shootout and is ready to go back at the list. Oh, and I’m sure the 2 grand helps as well!

Put Up For Your City Recap
The Farmtruck is a beast on the street, but how would it fare against a jet plane? Farmtruck and Azn decided to answer that very question this week in an all-out race: street vs sky.
Meanwhile, Chief decided to do something new. Convinced he had finally put together the fastest team of street racers in the nation, it was time to put OKC to the test. He called on California, New York, and Detroit to put up their five fastest cars to see truly who was best. The teams agreed, also mentioning they weren’t bringing any promods with them. Deciding it would be unfair to compete with the Crowmod, Big Chief decided to sit this one out and the let the team carry itself.
The drivers were chosen: Doc, Monza, Murder Nova, Daddy Dave, and Dominator. The rules were simple: 3 rounds, 5 races each. In order to survive into round three, a team had to win at least 3 races. Who was going to be named the fastest in the country?
