The 405 OKC Crew Take On The Dirty South
It was an emotional start to the beginning of Street Outlaws last night. It’s been about a year since Flip’s passing and though a lot has happened he hasn’t and will never be forgotten. Flip’s El Camino, “The Old Slut” has been sitting in Chief’s barn for the past year. Since Chief’s return to the list, he’s had his and Flip’s childhood friend, Kamikaze Chris around to help out at the shop. Chief felt it might be time to give the El Camino a new driver and resurrect her. He needed someone crazy for the job and who better than someone nicknamed Kamikaze. The Elco started up first try for Kamikaze, it was meant to be. They immediately got the car in the shop and made a few tweaks to ensure the brakes and other things were in racing order.
We also had a surprise appearance from BoostedGT last night. Boosted showed up with a pop-up camper, an address change form and an application for an Oklahoma driver’s license. He knew he had to be in the 405 to be apart of the 405 OKC crew, and wanted to be part of the fastest crew in the country!
With Boosted and Kamikaze now in the crew, Chief decided to take a little “family” vacation and win some money while at it. The OKC crew all hitched up their cars to their trucks and booked it to New Orleans to take on the fastest drivers in the dirty south.
The first few races started out pretty rocky. The first race Boosted won by default due to a jumped light, Derek lost the 2nd match-up by crossing the centerline when his opponent’s engine blew up. Murder Nova didn’t even get off the line because he hadn’t boosted into the second step yet before the light went off. Friction was high, smack-talk was flying and you could see a few fists tensing up. Nova’s opponent was cool about it though, saw the Nova never let off the trans break and decided to give him a second go at it.
From that point on it was all wins and everyone started to cool down. Murder Nova hooked right away and pulled out about 2 car-lengths front for the win. Big Chief’s The Crow won by over a bus-length. Monza and the Mustang he was against were neck-and-neck for only a second before Monza smoked him by 2 bus-lengths. When Kamikaze took off in Flip’s memory, the Elco launched so hard it almost flipped over! Kamikaze pedaled it back under control and took off down the line for a win. It was all down to Daddy Dave and he wasn’t going to disappoint. Dave’s Sonoma hooked off the line and it careened to the grass on the right. Daddy Dave pedaled it back in, gathered up the lost ground and was able to pull back ahead for a photo-finish win.
It was a good night for the 405 OKC crew. They proved themselves once again as having the fastest streetcars in the country and they got to trek home with heavier pockets. Check back in next week to see how things on The List are going to shake up? Are the Elco and BoostedGT going to make their way on past Varley and his Gold Car? Can Doc and his new engine hook and gather up a win or will he keep getting knocked down The List? Wait and see…

Can Things Turn Around for Doc?
This season of Street Outlaws has really mixed things up on The List. Last night was no exception. We’ve all seen Doc have his share of issues on the street after he installed his new engine. Last night he was hoping to turn things around. Chuck was hoping to make up some lost ground as well and we had a couple semi-new applicants for Varley’s 10-spot.
We’ve seen Freakin’ Rican make a couple passes at The List in the past. After a few upgrades to the car he came to Farmtruck asking for another shot. Rican wasn’t the only one drooling for the gatekeeper position. Kamikaze wanted to take The ElCo’s rebirth to the next level and give it a chance at The List again. Farmtruck decided to have Kamikaze and Freakin’ Rican race, the winner could then race Varley for the 10-spot. Like anyone would have guessed, the ElCo smoked Freakin’ Rican’s Freak of Nature. Freakin’ Rican smoked his tires the same way he did the past 2 attempts while the ElCo hooked. The ElCo immediately went to battle with Varley’s Gold Car, but due to bald racking slicks The Gold Car couldn’t get all of it’s power to the ground. The El Co took off, securing the 10-spot from Varley.
Meanwhile, Farmtruck and AZN went out for some “fishing” revenge against Tall Paul and his legendary Hot Rod. The Dung Beetle hooked hard off the line and smoked Tall Paul, lining their pockets with some extra change. Chuck called out Dominator before making sure his car was ready. He set up for some late night Dyno testing only to find out that his new twin turbo’s weren’t building boost. When it came time for race night in the OKC 405, Chuck decided to take his car off The List until he could get it working properly again. At that point he would then make his way back up The List. Dominator graciously let Chuck keep the bet money to put back in his car. This moved Kamikaze and Andrade Jr each up a spot on The List.
Kamikaze was fixing to move the ElCo up the list, first against Andrade Jr and The Cutty. After turning up the power on the ElCo a little, it hooked harder than expected. Kamikaze thought he crossed over the centerline and let off the gas letting Andrade take the win. Derek called out Doc. Like all of Doc’s previous passes he blew his tires off the road and let Derek take his spot on The List. Back at the starting line Dominator was waiting. He came to the street that night ready to race Chuck, but after Chuck bowed-out he needed to satisfy his cravings and smelled blood on Doc. Doc hooked hard out of the gate and almost crossed into Dominator’s lane. He pedaled it back in, caught up and won by a nose.
Is this the start of Doc’s run back-up the OKC 405 top-ten list? Will he be able to get all of the power his new engine creates to the ground? Will The Elco make its way through Andrade Jr.’s Cutty and the rest of the 405 crew to get back into the top-5? We’ll find out soon!

Gatekeeper Gate Recap
This week’s episode of Street Outlaws was filled with tight races, redemption and tragedy. Dominator had his work cut out for him with all of the drivers lined up to go at his #10 gatekeeper position. Between, Kayla Morton, Chuck, Varley and now Jeff Lutz with his beastly bel air, it wasn’t set out to be a long night for Dominator.
The first race of the night was the infamous Kayla Morton from last season vs Dominator. After a few fights almost broke out, all criticizing Kayla’s driving, the race was on. Dominator was off the line like a bat out of hell. Kayla might as well have been going in reverse. Her nitrous never kicked on and basically gave the win to Dominator.
Up next was Dominator vs Jeff Lutz. Lutz’s car proved how powerful it was earlier in the episode when the Midwest Street Cars team tested it on the Dyno machine. Dominator was nervous but didn’t show it on the street. He was hot off the line, it was a bumper to bumper race but Dominator took the win.
Dominator proved he didn’t belong at #10 after he beat Jeff Lutz so he called out Andrade. Within a few seconds off the line Andrade lost control of the car, spun out and went up over the curb, practically totaling his car. Sadly race night was over and Andrade had to pull his car off the list.
The Street Outlaws OKC crew gathered for a second race night a couple of days later. Dominator wanted to get a little farther from the gatekeeper position and called out BoostedGT. Boosted tried to turn his car up a bit to keep up with Dominator but just ended up spinning his tires while Dominator crossed the finish line.
Next was a race between two 405 legends for the open 10-spot, Varley and Chuck. Varley just finished tuning up his car after a major wheelie-fall at the track, but it wasn’t enough to compete with Chuck. The Gold Car leaned left off the line and Chuck blew by winning by several car lengths. Finally Chuck and his Death Trap are back on the list.

Put Up For Your City Recap
The Farmtruck is a beast on the street, but how would it fare against a jet plane? Farmtruck and Azn decided to answer that very question this week in an all-out race: street vs sky.
Meanwhile, Chief decided to do something new. Convinced he had finally put together the fastest team of street racers in the nation, it was time to put OKC to the test. He called on California, New York, and Detroit to put up their five fastest cars to see truly who was best. The teams agreed, also mentioning they weren’t bringing any promods with them. Deciding it would be unfair to compete with the Crowmod, Big Chief decided to sit this one out and the let the team carry itself.
The drivers were chosen: Doc, Monza, Murder Nova, Daddy Dave, and Dominator. The rules were simple: 3 rounds, 5 races each. In order to survive into round three, a team had to win at least 3 races. Who was going to be named the fastest in the country?
