The list changed up big time this week as Jeff Lutz finally climbed his way into the top five. And the Mad Max is definitely a car that deserves it. This beast tore passed The Bank Note and The Reaper this week to solidify Lutz’s place in the 405.
Race 1 –

Winner: Daddy Dave
Synopsis: It was a tight race at the beginning, but in the end the Bank Note was just no match for Goliath 2.0. Dave keeps him spot.
Race 2 –
Driver: James Goad (5)
Car: The Reaper
Driver: Big Chief (4)
Car: The Crowmod
Bet: James wagered 500, plus 500 on the gap, meaning he bets Chief won’t even be even with The Reaper when he goes over the line.
Winner: Big Chief
Synopsis: Chief takes this one, even putting a a gap between his car and The Reaper. Guess James spoke too soon…
Race 3 –
Driver: Murder Nova (1)
Car: Murder Nova
Driver: Doc
Car: The Street Beast
Bet: 500
Winner: Doc
Synopsis: It feels like we’ve been here before… Murder Nova blasted out of the gate, running over the line. But back at the gate, some contention rose about whether or not he jumped. The video confirmed. Doc wins by default.
Race 4 –
Driver: Big Chief (4)
Car: The Crowmod
Driver: Monza (3)
Car: Sinister Split Bumper
Winner: Big Chief
Synopsis: Monza lost this race in the first moments. Chief got a strong lead and held it all the way through.
Race 5 –
Driver: Jeff Lutz (8)
Car: Mad Max
Driver: Jeremy (7)
Car: The Bank Note
Winner: Jeff Lutz
Synopsis: The Mad Max is no car to take lightly. This thing put several car lengths between them in the first 60 feet. Lutz moves up to 7.
This is where stuff got heated. Before Lutz could call Dave out for number 6, Dave quickly called out Reaper for number 5 even though his car wasn’t ready to race. Now Lutz is blocked and, obviously upset.
To ease the tension, Dave let Jeff slide up to battle Reaper for number 5.
